Udupi, 11 February 2012: The Rave party which took place in Malpe of Udupi district which is the native place of the Chief Minister and the ministers watching of pornographic film in Vidhana Sabha, has stained the whole BJP government. Therefore, the Chief Minister should dissolve the Vidhana Sabha immediately and face the voters, urged Udupi district Congress former MLA Gopala Poojary.
He was speaking while addressing the protest conducted by District Women Congress, District Congress and Congress Workers Sangha, near Gandhi statue in the city on Thursday, protesting the Rave party and the pornographic film incidents. Speaking on the occasion Udupi Block Congress President Pramod Madwaraj said that, the real face of BJP has been exposed through the Rave party and the pornographic films.
District Women’s Congress President Veronica Carnelio spoke and said that, in the Rave party conducted at the St. Mary’s island, Udupi MLA K. Raghupathi Bhat has participated day and night. This vulgar Rave party which shames the society has been organized by him. So he should take the moral responsibility and should resign his position as MLA, she demanded. At this time for some time ‘Rasta Roko’ was conducted, but the police came and dispersed the protesters.
