Shirva, 06 February 2012: The association actively ahead in Cultural and Social activities “Spandana Sanskratika Kala Vedike” of Kunjarugiri, had its new office bearers in a function organized in Kurkalu Ganapayya Shetty Auditorium. The program was presided over by Senior Teacher B. Pundalika Marathe Shirva, who also inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Speaking on the occasion B. Pundalika Marathe said that, in the recent days the government is providing financial assistance to various activities the development, education, health, cultural activities and youth activities. The association must work in the direction to provide these facilities to the citizens. The people’s representatives and the officers from various departments should be called and the facilities should be informed, he said.
Speaking further he said that, the emerging talents of the rural areas need to be identified and if the programs to give opportunities to these are adopted then the association will be successful. He also briefed on the roles and responsibilities of the office bearers and the transparency and execution of the work.
Former Taluk Panchayath member and honorary advisor Naveen Amin conveyed best wishes. Former President Y. Madhusoodana Rao in his introductory note welcomed the guests and the gathering and also briefed on the achievements of the association. New President Shrinivasa Bhat said that for the success of the association the support of the members is crucial. Secretary Parthasarathi compeered the program. New Secretary Ravi Biliyaru proposed vote of thanks.
