Brahmavara, 28 December 2011: There is no meaning in making issues on religion and caste for the sake of personal gain. When the coordination and friendship gets stronger the differences get reduced, said Saligrama Panchayath Member Mohammed Suhan. He was speaking in the friendly get together organized by United Christian Association Mangalore’s Udupi Kundapur Zone Committee at Sastana Shivakripa Kalyana Mantapa Auditorium on Sunday.
On behalf of the Association 5 poor families were given monetary help, scholarship to 40 talented students and monetary help to 5 poor patients for their medical treatment. “Uzwad” the magazine of the Association, with editorial by Micheal Rodrogues, was released on the occasion by the Santaclause. Malpe P.U. College retired Principal Anandarama Thunga and Pandeshwara Aided Higher Primary School retired Headmaster Alphonses D’Souza were the chief guests.
Association President Silvester D’Souza welcomed the guests and the gathering. The program was compeered by Roshani Oliviera and Savitha Rodreigues. Secretary Claud Luise proposed vote of thenks. Speaking on the occasion Sastan C.A. Bank President Prathap Shetty appreciated the activities of the association.
