Pangala, 03 November 2011: In a tragic accident on Monday at National Highway 66 near Pangala town between Lorry, Tempo and Rickshaw, the rickshaw driver died on the spot. With this chain accident one of the vehicle caught fire and then all three vehicles completely burnt and the rickshaw driver was burnt to death. The traffic on the highway was blocked for some time due to this.
Since all the three vehicles caught fire the burning flames did not allow the public to go near to it to save the driver who finally burned to death. The Udupi fire brigade came to the spot and put off the fire. The Kaup police also had arrived to the scene.
The driver is identified as Ravish (25) of Kokkarne. He has been working in K.K. Enterprises from some time doing the line sale, and was burnt to death in the same rickshaw.
