Gerald Fernandes Appointed as Secretary of Udupi District BJP Unit

Moodubelle, 20 March 2010: The Udupi District BJP Unit President, Mr. Uday Kumar Shetty appointed Mr. Gerald Fernandes from Moodubelle as one of the eight Secretaries of the Udupi District BJP Unit on 16th March 2010. Thus, Mr. Gerald Fernandes got an opportunity to become one of the 21 members of the Core team of the BJP Unit of the Udupi District.

In the district Core team, besides the President there are two Vice Presidents, two General Secretaries, one Treasurer and eight Secretaries and regular invitees.

Mr. Gerald Fernandes joined the BJP party in 2004 and gradually made a mark in the district unit of the party by his sincere work and leadership quality. In 2005, Mr. Gerald Fernandes was appointed as the BJP Minority Morcha President of the Kaup Block. In 2007, he was made the Udupi District BJP minority Morcha President. Recently he was honoured by being appointed as one of the eight Secretaries of the Udupi District BJP Unit.
