Dr. Edward Lobo honoured on Doctors Day celebration at Manasa

Udupi/Pamboor: God has worked wonders through me, and he has used me as His instrument  in the healing mission for the last 56 years said Dr Edward Lobo, a renowned medical practitioner and founder managing trustee and founder president of Manasa Rehabilitation and training Centre, Pamboor. He was addressing teachers and students in a touching felicitation ceremony organised by the school on the occasion of Doctors Day on Tuesday, 01 July 2025.

 

God gives me good health, I will serve His least in the society and this special school as long as I can he added.

 

Speaking on the occasion Sr Vinny Gonsalves, the Principal narrated the services of Dr Lobo right from the inception. For the rich and wealthy there will be many, but for the needy and poor it’s Dr Lobo said Sr Vinny thanking Dr Lobo for his extraordinary efforts to make the school children as well as staff healthy.

Mr Henry Menezes in his presidential remarks applauded the kindness and generosity shown by Dr Lobo as a physician and an able administrator from the foundation of the special school.

 

As a special honour the school felicitated Dr Lobo with a shawl and flowers. The students put up small play and dance items in honour of Dr Lobo.

 

In the beginning Mrs Shalini teacher welcomed the gathering and Mrs Shashikala teacher introduced Dr Lobo.
