Udupi/Shirva: Father’s Day Observed in Infant Jesus Parish, Pilar on Sunday, 29 June 2025. Fr. John Barboza presided over the programme.  Stanley Fernandes-Coordinator in Sampada Udupi was the chief guest.

 

Speaking as the chief guest, Stanley Fernandes highlighted the importance of father in the family. He also encouraged the men of the parish to start men’s Self-Help Groups (SHG) in their parish. 

 

Men (fathers) were honoured by presenting them mementos.

Cultural programme was organized to entertain the gathering.

 

Family Commission Coordinator Mrs. Wilma Correa welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Ida D’Souza explained the significance of the Father’ Day celebration. Women’s Commission Coordinator Mrs. Veronica Mathias proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Emilda Mathias compered the programme.
