Mangaluru: Natana Rangashala’s Theatre Diploma 2025-26 (One Year Acting and Theatre Training) Admission Process and Audition on May 25th. Natana Rangashala, led by Mandya Ramesh, has been continuously active in theatre for the past many years and has consistently strived to achieve excellence through theatre study, demonstration, experimentation and performances.
As part of its activities, it runs a one-year non-residential theatre diploma course for interested young people between the ages of 16 and 32. Over the past several years, students from different parts of Karnataka have been coming to Natana Rangshala to get trained. More than 500 artists trained at Natana Rangshala are working in various media across the country.
The admission process and interview (audition) of candidates for the year 2025-26 will be held on 25.05.2025 at 10 am sharp at the Natana Rangshala in Ramakrishna Nagar, Mysore.
Classes will be held every evening from 5.30 to 9 pm, and introductory practical classes on various aspects of theatre will be held, such as acting, theatre theory, stage music, body movement, use of sound, costumes, lighting, stage design, props, stage history, play preparation, performance. The selection process will be conducted through direct interviews, and interested candidates should participate in the interview on the above date. Candidates who are interested in seriously studying theatre should apply online on the institute’s website ( www.natanamysuru.org ) or at the office, pay the prescribed fee, obtain an application and submit it by post or directly.
