Bellevision Bahrain steps into 15th year of existence

Bahrain, 02 Mar 2025: Bellevision Bahrain stepped into its 15th year of existence by inducting the new committee for 2025 on the evening of February 27. The event was organized at Papillon party hall and well attended by the members, Fr Darel Fernandes and our well-wishers.

 

The energetic MC Adeline kick started the event with her humorous style. Wilroy and Joyce D’Souza recited the opening prayer. Nirmala Fernandes gave a short introduction of each Excom member and carried out the induction.

 

The outgoing president Rony Norbert pinned the badge on the current president Arun Castelino as a symbol of induction. Similarly, the other members were symbolically inducted by Arun. The Excom members then lit the lamp and celebrated the happiness by cutting the cake. Home baked slice cake prepared by Naveen Mendonca was served for all.

Fr Darel Fernandes, spiritual director of Konkani community Sacred Heart Church was welcomed by Arun. Through a short story, Fr gave an inspiring message to continue believing in efforts and wished all success to Bellevision Bahrain.

 

 

Arun Castelino in his presidential address welcomed and thanked everyone for their support. The outgoing committee of 2024 was felicitated with a momento. General Secretary Ivan D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.

 

As part of the entertainment there were lovely songs rendered by Nathan D’Silva, Preetham Aranha and Rony Fernandes. Eliana Alva dressed as pretty fisherwoman performed the dance for Konkani song. Fun games for children and adults and housie housie was conducted. Special performance by Vinith, Feena and Fiona mesmerized everyone.

 

Registration desk was manned by Judith and Nirmala. Photography was covered by Rony and Mario Fernandes, Valentino Mathias DJ’d the event, Vincent Martis and Ashish assisted at the counter.

 

Delightful food was served by Papillon restaurant.
