Bantwal: Mangaluru MP Brijesh Chowta has said that Rs 20 crore has been sanctioned through the Pradhan Mantri Jan Mann Yojana for the comprehensive development of the Koraga community and beekeepers in Dakshina Kannada district. It is the Prime Minister’s dream to bring all sections of society into the mainstream.
He participated and spoke at the handover and housewarming ceremony of a new house built for the family of Ballu Koraga at Babanakate in Ananthadi village, with the cooperation of BJP Shakti Kendra Ananthadi.
The Bharatiya Janata Party was established for the purpose of health, shelter and education. BJP’s Anantadi Shakti Kendra has worked to empower the Koraga community, which is in a backward position in the society. This is an example of the grace of God being received when one walks on the path of religion. He congratulated all those who have worked for nation building and have worked to empower the Hindu society. Legislative Council member Kishore Bottyadi spoke and said that the Koraga community is the progenitor of the Hindu society, they are our greatest asset. The work of pleasing God by responding to the problem of the Koraga has been done in Anantadi village. He said that everyone needs to do the work of bringing the society, which has been filled with strength for the Hindu community, into the mainstream.
