Shirva: In Pambur, Belle village, under the auspices of the Parichaya Pratishthan (R) Pambur, a 7-day “Parichaya Rangotsava 2025” will be held at Pambur Rangaparichaya from Monday, Feb. 10 to Sunday, Feb. 16. Seven plays in Kannada, Tulu, and Konkani languages ??will be performed at the Rangaparichaya every day from 6.30 pm for seven days.
Feb. 10 Monday, Kannada play “My Family” presented by Rangayana Mysore; Feb. 11 Tuesday, Tulu play “Eedi” presented by Sumanasa, Kodavoor, Udupi (R.); Feb. 12 Wednesday, Konkani play Payn presented by Ranga Adhyaya Kendra, St. Aloysius Deemed University, Mangalore and Astita (R.), Mangalore; Feb. 13 Thursday, Kannada play “Anamikana Sauvu” presented by Spinning Tree Theatre Co., Bijapur; Feb. 14. Friday, Kannada play “Jothegiruvanu Chandira” presented by Sankalpa, Mysore; Feb. 15. Saturday, Kannada play “Bethalata” presented by Mandara (R.), Baikadi; ??Feb. 16 Sunday, Konkani play “Saathvo Upades” presented by Kalakul, Mangalore will be performed.
The festival, which will be inaugurated by the Director of Rangayana Mysore, Hon. Satish Tiptur, on Feb. 10, will conclude with the concluding message by the Director of Yaksharangayana, Karkala, Hon. B. R. Venkataramana Aital on Feb. 16. The Kannada plays are sponsored by the Kannada and Culture Department of Udupi district, and its Assistant Director, Mrs. Purnima, will participate as a guest.
Each play will be 90 to 120 minutes long, and the programs will begin at the scheduled time and end at the scheduled time. The Parikha Pratishthan (R) Pamboor announced that there is an open opportunity for art lovers.
