Mumbai, Jan. 11: The educational community of Kannada Bhavan is a tree. I have been a teacher here since the inception of the school. This institution has made even the common people popular and raised them to be the best. It is a tree that has grown widely and made everyone brothers. Because the old roots have grown into new shoots and advanced, this institution is still alive and is in the throes of forty years of walking. The students here are like Mount Meru. The joy that has grown is the excellence of the institution. It is unfortunate that educational institutions today have become businesses. That is why the time has come to forget the mother tongue. But it is commendable that Kannada Bhavan has still instilled pure educational values. May such a pure educational institution of Kannada Bhavan grow for centuries and become the lifeblood of Kannada culture, said Pralhadacharya R. Nagarahalli, Chancellor and retired Principal of Sarvajna Vidyapeeth Virar.
