Mumbai (RBI),Oct.29: Non-Resident (Outside) Kannadigas are all assets of coastal and are boon for the prosperity of Karnataka. Non-resident Indians and Mumbaikars have contributed enough to coastal hinterland. So my priority is the development of overseas Kannadigas. Such non-resident Kannadigars need a ministry and the government needs to plan for this and to provide employment to those returning to back from abroad. At a felicitation program organized by Team Mangalorean (Mumbai) at the Lotus Halla of club house of Solitare Corporate Park, Andheri East here on Tuesday evening Dr. Aarthi Krishna spoke.
MRCC Senior Vice President Janet L.D’Souza presided over a simple program in which Former Minister of Karnataka B.Ramanatha Rai was the chief guest and inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp. Later the guests honour her with shawl, flower boutique and Momento to Arathi Krishna, congratulated her and wished her best for future.
The guests of honor were Pius L.Rodrigues, former chairman of Bantwala Urban Development Authority (BUDA), Wilson Fernandes, Chairman of Fernandes Group, Clive Dias Barkuru, Former Corporator, Sylvester Rodriguez, chairman of Dimension (Global Christian Chamber of Commerce), John Wilson Lobo, chairman Lobo Foundation (Thane) Allwyn Sequeira Gargadi (Orlem), Executive chairman AJS Group were graced the stage.
Ramanath Rai spoke Dr. Aarthi Krishna’s father was my acquaintance and closely related. Aarthi Krishna is the person who deserves to respond to the well-being of non-resident Indians. He said that her personality is known for efficient leadership and she is a woman who can respond directly to problems.
Mumbaikars are well-intentioned people and the people of coastal here, we all of us are achievers of one kind or another. All their hard work is the strength of unity of love and trust said Pius Rodrigues
Wilson Fernandes said that Kannadigas among non-resident Indians are facing many problems. Especially our people in Gulf or international countries are facing the problem of fake agents. All these need a solution he said.
It is our privilege to honor Dr. Aarthi Krishna. In recognition of his exceptional service work, the government has awarded her a prestigious post. This program is a proof that love and trust relationships grow through language. Our children are based around the world and for them in difficult times such relationships of influential people come in handy. Janet L.
