MUMBAI (RBI),Oct 23: Members of Mother India Night School Alumni Association, newly established in 2022 by members of Mother India Night School Alumni Association, which is renowned for its social, educational, literary and cultural activities in Fort area of ??the city, requested the members to cooperate so that the educational, social and cultural service of Mother India continues. The second annual general meeting of Mother India X Students Foundation, registered under the Maharashtra State Social Organization Act, was held last Sunday (A. 20) at Rawut Cottage, Mud Island, west of Malad. Surendra Pujari presided over the meeting.
General Secretary Harish Mendan welcomed the members and read out the circular. Later, as per the agenda, Ashok Suvarna, the joint secretary, read the note of the first general meeting. Suggested by Keshav Shettigar and approved and sanctioned by Shivananda Bangera. Associate Treasurer P. B. Chandrahas presented the annual accounts. Accepted with Mandara Hegde’s notice and Naveen Amin’s approval. Treasurer T. regarding the appointment of statutory auditors. V. Pursuant to the stipulation presented by the priest, C.A. Krishna Naik was appointed for the following year with Sundar Moily’s instruction and Mohan Suvarna’s approval. Prof. as internal auditor. Mandara Hegde was appointed.
Manjunath Pujari, Chairman of the Fundraising Committee emphasized the need to buy an office for the foundation and said that the members should make up their minds to collect money according to their ability.
General Secretary Harish Mindan said that it is better if the committees carrying out any activity using the name of Mother India Night School consult with the President or General Secretary of Mother India Ex-Students Foundation and they should work with integrity for the prosperity of the organization. President Surendra Pujari said that this organization is progressing rapidly and the members should cooperate with Tanu Mana Dhan. They should work to implement new projects that will benefit the society.
Harish Mindan who was appointed as the President of Tulu Sangh Borivali, Karunakara Kapu who won the Karnataka Folklore Award and Sitaram Devadiga who got the best award from Star Health were felicitated in the meeting.
Program Committee Chairman Sadananda Shetty Kinnigoli, Mandara Hegde, Sundara Moily, Advocate Sundara J. were present in the meeting. Shetty, Jaya Pujari presented their opinion.
Jayaram Poojari, Karunakara Poojari, Hemant Poojari, Ramesh Poojari, Akarsha Yashwant Poojari, Srikanth Poojari etc. participated in the entertainment program.
Vice Presidents Umesh Shetty and Yashwant Poojary along with Secretary Jayaram Poojary and Rasayani were present on the stage. Ashok Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks.
