Bantwala: Rotary District Governor Vikram Dutta said that by organizing ’Rotary Kambala Koota’ of Sub Junior Rope and Plow Division for the first time in the undivided Dakshina Kannada district, Rotary Club and other organizations involved in various social activities at home and abroad have shown a new direction.
He spoke while inaugurating the ’Rotary Club Kambala Koota’ of sub-junior rope and plow section organized by Bantwala Loretto Hills Rotary Club at Siddhakatte Kodange Veera Vikrama Jodukare here on Saturday.
Rotary Club President Suresh Shetty presided over the programme. Former president of the club, Moktesar M. Padmaraja Ballal of Sri Mahaganapati Deval, Koila Mavantur inaugurated the carpet call.

A total of 85 pairs of chicks participated, including 79 pairs in the sub-junior plough category and 6 pairs in the rope category.
