Mumbai, Oct.12: Founder Chairman of Dimensions and Jeevan Anchor Foundation (Life Anchors) Late Mr. Freddy Mendonca 1st Freddy Lecture organized by Life Anchors, Jeevan Anchor Foundation at ST PAULS Media Complex, 24th Road, TPS III, Bandra West, Mumbai on Saturday Otc.12 Morning.
On that occasion, the 1st Freddie Memorial Lecture was held in a meeting Presided by Jeevan Anchor Foundation Chairman Thomas D. Lobo, Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) Chairman Albert W. D’Souza was present as the chief guest. Walter Vieira, a nationally renowned certified management consultant, author and business journalist, is a resource person who lectures on the topic of Making Entrepreneurship Work
Albert Dsouza said that Freddy told me that producing Catholic engineers, your goal is not met. you should see that they remain in the country, even if they go abroad for higher study, they do the reverse brain gain in the country, so that our country will progress, the Catholic community will progress. I thought for a while, there was an inner meaning, dimensional meaning in what he said those days. Even though I too believe strongly, sometimes people criticize me, it is better to be an A grade citizen of your own country than a B grade citizen of an A grade country. I have seen all over the world around Christian chambers, but I see them there as an employee and not an employer. Honeybees don’t gather honey for themselves, they gather honey for the human being and the moon creates the ambience for the honeymooners. Living for others, giving to others, serving others, this is the inner meaning of this quote. This quote is apt to Freddy Mendonca’s life.
Walter Vieira said that we are to remember the good that Freddy did, He was a very unusual man, Freddy Somebody who I could not understand. He worked all his life in the spirit world. Perhaps he wanted to see others do what he did not do or could not do and be successful so that the community and its people will do far more in the next generation than they have done in the past.
