Cancer Awareness Camp Conducted by Sampada Udupi at Belman Church

Udupi/Belman, 10 Oct: Cancer awareness Camp under the ‘Sparsha Programme’ of Sampada Udupi in association with Jnanodaya Mahasangha, Belman, Lions Club-Belman, Lions Club, Century and Health Commission of Belman Parish was conducted in the Parish Hall of Belman Church on Thursday, 10 October 2024. Doctors and supporting staff from Community Health Department of KMC, Manipal Dr. Akhila D., Dr. Vaisna and Sisters Manjul and Pushpa conducted the camp. 

The Cancer Awareness Camp was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Frederick Mascarenhas-Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church, Belman. Other dignitaries present included: Fr. Arnold-Assistant Parish Priest of Belman, Mrs. Joyce Tellis-Convener of the Health Commission,  Mrs. Lydia Fernandes-President of Jnanodaya Mahasangha, Ln. Gregory Noronha of Lions Club, Belman,  Mrs. Severine D’Sa of Lions Club, Century, Gregory Menezes-Vice President of the PPC., Mrs. Jannet D’Mello-Secretary of PPC. Stanley Fernandes-Coordinator of Sampada Udupi. Mrs. Jeswita D’Sa and Mrs. Nancy Noronah-Animators Sampada Udupi.
