Mangalore: Bantar Yane Nadava Matru Sangh, Gurupur Bantar Matru Sangh has received a comprehensive award in Banta Kreedotsava-2024 held as part of public Ganeshotsav at Bunts Hostel under the auspices of Sri Siddhivinayak Pratishthan and Public Sri Ganeshotsav Samiti.
In the throwball competition, Karkala Mahila Bantara Sangh got the first prize and Puttur Bantara Sangh got the second prize.
In the men’s penalty shoot-out, Kavur Bantar Sangh was first, Suratkal Bantar Sangh B was second, in women’s shoot-out, Bajpe Bantar Sangh B was first and Bajpe Bantar Sangh A was second.
Manjeshwar Bantar Sangh won the first prize, Puttur Bantar Sangh second and Bantwal Bantar Sangh third prize in the men’s category of the tug-of-war competition. In women’s category, Suratkal Bantar Sangh B won the first prize, Suratkal Bantar Sangh A second and Bantwal Bantar Sangh third prize.
Kapu MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty, former minister B. Nagaraja Shetty, KPCC General Secretary Mithun Rai were the chief guests of the closing ceremony and felicitated the prize winners.
