Today our institution is a household name all over Maharashtra and the Parishad has fulfilled its mission as the mother body of all forms of art institutions with great sincerity and dedication. Establishment of Kshemanidhi for artists, annual Kalashri award and now successful in having its own office". Kannadiga Artists Parishad Maharashtra President Dr. Surendrakumar Hegde said.
The 16th Annual General Meeting of the Parishad organized in the small hall of Billava Bhavan in Santacruz East was inaugurated on Thursday evening by Dr. Hegde. He said that in collecting funds for the future projects, for collecting funds and for the planned memorial programs, organizing regional programs and responding to the disabled artists, I hope that they will fulfil all the art activities and projects organized by the council for art and artists. He said that the inauguration of the originality office will be done in Srighar.
Vice President of the Parishad Kamalaksha G. Saraf, Honorary General Secretary Chandrasekhara Bhat, Honorary General Treasurer PB Chandrahas, Secretary Chandravati Devadiga, Treasurer Naveen Shetty Innabalsika, Women’s Department President Tara R. Bangera were present on the stage.
Chandrasekhara Bhat presented the annual report. PB Chandrahas presented the previous year’s accounts. The meeting unanimously elected Jagdish D. Rai as auditor and Rao & Ashok Chartered Accountants as external auditors.
Executive committee members, special invitees, internal auditor Jagdish Rai, advisors, convenor of women’s department Kusuma Pujari and other members were present and KK Shetty, GT Acharya, Sudha Shetty, Mohan Marnad, Ashoka Pakkala, Dayasagar Chauta Matanadi in the meeting wished the association well. .
Tara R. Bangera and Sushila Devadiga offered prayers. The President honored and felicitated the members who collected the fund. The council members and advisors are the recently departed Sadananda Suvarna, Shimunje Parari.Condolence was expressed and tributes were sought for the demise of Subhash Shetty.
