Udupi, 03 Sept: A two-day soft skills training program was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of Commerce in association with the Career Guidance and Placement Cell on September 2, 2024. Renowned freelancer and soft skills trainer, Mr. Jaikishan Bhat from Udupi, was the resource person for the day.
On the first day, he conducted engaging activities to help students understand the importance of soft skills and values in achieving their best potential. He emphasized the significance of wisdom, knowledge, courage, and self-confidence in personal and professional growth. The session also covered essential skills like ability and communication, which are crucial for students to earn their livelihood. Additionally, Mr. Bhat provided practical insights on building a professional profile on LinkedIn and Taplio, as well as leveraging AI technology for effective academic writing tools like Writing Buddy.
