Donors of the Reconstruction of Shri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Moodubelle honoured during the Religiou

Udupi/M’Belle, 23 Apr 2024: Donors and all those who were associated with the reconstruction of the Shr Mahlingeshwara, Shri Ganapathi and Shri Sooryanayrayana Temple at Devaragudde, Moodubelle were honoured during the religous programme organized on Tuesday, 23 April 2024 at 5.30 pm. The programme was presided over by Dr. H.B. Shetty-the Trustee and the President of the  Committee for the Reconstruction of the temple.

 

The programme was inaugurated by Shri Vidhyavallbh Theertha-Shri Madhwacharya Moola Mahasansthana, Shri Kaniyur Matt, Udupi by lighting the lamp along with the dignitaries on the dais.

 

Following the formal welcome programme, Niranjan Rao in his introductory address narrated the background of the reconstruction of the temple.

 

 

In his benedictory message, Shri Vidhyavallbh Theertha said that whatever happens to human beings, it happens because of God’s will. He explained this dictum through an anecdote related to a king and his minster. He appreciated the reconstruction of the temple as it is the center of religion and culture of the village. He wished well for the Brahmakalashotsava to be held on Wednesday, 24 April 2024. 

 

On this occasion the donors, architects, engineers and contractors who were responsible for the reconstruction of the temple were honoured. These included: Santosh Shetty, Inna Kurkilbettu, President of the  Buntara sangha, Pune, K.K. Shetty-Businessman from Ahmednagar, Vishwanath Shetty-Perugutthu, Businessman  Kuthyar Prasad Shetty-Architect Ln. Rishikesh Hegde-Businessman and Gundibail Subramanya-Vasthu Specialist. The contractor and two of his associates were also felicitated on this occasion.

 

Santosh Shetty, Kuthyar Prasad Shetty and Gundibail Subramanya expressed their feelings and experiences on this occasion.

 

Vidhwan Ramanath Acharaya in his keynote address spoke on religion and spirituality.

 

Vasanth Shetty-Belle Melmane, Dr. Ramanath Rai-Belle Kelamane, Udaya Shetty-Belle Melmane, K. Prakash Shetty-Head of the MRG Group,  Vinay Shetty-Palemar-President of the Mumbai Committee, Sitraram Shetty-Belle Doddamane Padubelle, Dr. Jayaprakash Belle, Devadas Hebbar, P.D. Kamath, Belle Ravindranath Rao-Bangalore and other dignitaries were present on the dais.

 

Rajendra Shetty proposed the vote of thanks and Sainath Shetty Mundkur and Bhagyashree Aithal compered the programme.
