Udupi, 28 August 2011: Shri Krishna Mutt of Udupi provides the best platform to display the talent for those who pursues their chosen art assiduously. In addition to this, the Paryaya Shree of Shiruru Mutt Shri Laxmivara Theertha has more interest in extraordinary arts. Such one art of writing in both hands at the same time, mirror writing, was displayed on Saturday at Madhvamantapa in Shri Krishna Mutt.
Veena Manjunatha Aythal, who is originally from Udupi but currently settled in Mangalore, performed this extraordinary art, in the presence of Shiruru Shree. First in Kannada she wrote normally with the right hand, backwards with left hand (from left to right) and then she wrote the letters backwards at the same time fast with smoothness.
Then she wrote in Hindi and then in English, with the letters upside down by right hand and backwards upside down by left hand at the same time smoothly, which received applauds. At the end her son Varun also wrote in English, mirror writing same as his mother wrote.
Delighted with the performances, Shree felicitated Veena, her husband Manjunatha Aythal and their Children Sharan and Varun. Ashok Baliga had coordinated this program. Deevana of the Mutt Lathavya was present on this occasion. Organizer of this event Vittalacharya compeered the program.
