Milagres College NSS Camp at Nittur concludes with wonderful experience

Udupi, 20 Feb 2024: The seventh and last day of the camp began with a morning walk. The Valedictory Ceremony of NSS Annual Special Camp 2023-24 was held at Government Higher Primary School, Udupi.

 

Retired Prof. Hilda Rodrigues, Head of the Economics Department, Milagres College, Kallianpur was the Chief Guest for the day; she quoted beautiful examples and several incidents to trigger the mindset of the youngsters regarding the seriousness of life.

 

Head of the Institutions, Government Higher Primary School, Hanumantha Nagara, Mrs. Molly D’Souza and Mrs. Musharath Jahaan Akbar M, highlighted importance of NSS.

 

 

Mr. Amith President of SDMC, Parents Teachers association, Milagres College Kallianpur Mr. Ganesh Mesta, Mr. Rajesh, president of SDMC, Government High School were the Guest of Honour.

 

Principal Dr Vincent Alva presided over the function.

 

NSS Volunteers shared their 7-day experiences and take always with the gathering.

 

Weeklong NSS Camp well cherished by the enthusiastic students, beautifully planned with useful social works – focussing on cleanliness, discipline, self awareness, cultural activities etc well coordinated, and executed by NSS Officers Mrs Anupama Jogi and Mr Ganesh Nayak, was well appreciated by the local leaders, teachers and surrounding residents at the serene Nittur location.
