World Autism Awareness Day Observed in Manasa Pamboor

Udupi/Pamboor, 30 Mar 2023: World Autism Awareness Day in Manasa Pamboor-Udupi, by Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Centre in association with Autism Society Udupi and Indian Doctors Association Udupi on 30.3.2023. Dr P V Bhandary-the founder president of Autism Society Udupi inaugurated the programme. He said that the autism in children is not due to the defect in parenting or any fault by parents but due to neurological disorder.

 

Dr K.T Swetha director Anirveda Resource centre Mangalore and Dr Veena Rao – MAHE Manipal were resource persons. Mrs  Lakshimi Prabhu- a parent shared her experiences.

 

 

Initially secretary of Manasa trust Mr Joseph Noronha gave the introduction. President Henry Menezes welcome the gathering. Trustee John Martis proposed the vote of thanks. Principla Sr Ancilla, DR Edward Lobo-founder president, President of Udupi Autism Socity Amitha Pai were present.
