Udupi: St Mary’s College observes 75th Indian Armed Forces Day

Udupi, 18 Jan 2023: St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here and 21 Karnataka battalion NCC Udupi jointly held 75th Indian Armed Forces Day recently.

 

The College principal Dr Herald Ivan Monis was present at the dais.

 

The College NCC officer Lieutenant K Praveen Kumar explained the significance of armed forces.

 

 

In his introductory address, Cadet Gowtamik Karkera elaborated on the key objectives of the programme.

 

21 Karnataka battalion NCC Udupi unit Hawaldar Vinod Roy, Amir Tamanga, senior under officer Mohit N Salian, junior under officer Dheeraj Acharya, cadet Navel Anriya Lobo were present.

 

Lance corporal Hemasri Shettigar, Sudarshan, Anish Bhat, Cadet Anuf Nayak and Alister Sujay D’Souza assisted in the programme.

 

Cadet Pooja welcomed the gathering. Punya H R proposed vote of thanks. Rahul Achar compered the programme.
