Mangaluru: Rachana organizes talk on Law of Succession & Inheritance

Mangaluru, 17 Oct 2022: Rachana, the Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a talk on Law of Succession and Inheritance by advocate David Pais at Eden Club, here on Sunday October 16 evening.

 

Pais explained on various laws involved in this matter. He informed that making a death will is advised and better than having complications after one’s death.

 

He also explained how we Catholics are bound by Indian Succession Law and how it works.

 

 

David also in detail explained the ratio of inheritance to spouses, children and immediate family members. How gifting property works.

 

It was a very informative and interesting session.

 

Program began with a prayer. Rachana president Vincent Cutinha welcomed the gathering. CA Rudolph Rodrigues introduced David Pais to the gathering.

 

Rachana secretary Lavina Monteiro proposed vote of thanks.

 

Member Royston Pinto compered the program.

 

There were almost 70 members and family members, invitees and guests present.

 

Meeting concluded with dinner.
