Mangaluru: 2nd days Novena held at St Lawrence Shrine, Bondel themed prayers in families

Mangaluru, 02Aug 2022: Second Day Novena prior to Feast of St Lawrence was held at St Lawrence church, Bondel here on Tuesday August 2.

 

Theme of 2nd Day -"Prayer is the Divine strength of family life. Fr Clifford Fernandes, parish priest - Holy Cross Church, Cordel here was the main celebrant, Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, Fr Lancy D’Souza, concelebrated the Mass.

 

 

Fr Clifford called on the devotees of St Lawrence and said, ‘If you believe that God listens to you whatever you are going through your biggest power is Prayer, God understands our prayers even when we can’t find words to say them..’

 

The Choir was from Simon & team from Bajal.

 

At 5.00pm mass the main celebrant was Rev Fr Cyril Lobo, Director Divya Jyothi-Udupi, Fr Peter Gonsalves, Fr Melvyn Pinto were concelebrants. The Choir was from Valencia parish.

 

During the mass and novena Special prayers were offered for the children of the families.
