Two Swasahaya groups from Belle receive highest honours

Moodubelle, 04 March 2010: On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, the Navodyaya Grama Vikasa Charitable Trust of the the Dakshina Kannada District Cooperative Bank organized three days programmes on February 12, 13 and 14, 2010 at Padu Thirupathi Ground, Navodyaya Circle, Karkala.

Around 300 Swasahaya Groups from different regions had participated in the programme. At the end of the programme, Sri Mahalingeshwara Swasahaya Sangha (Self Help Group) from Devaragudde, Moodubelle secured the first position and Ishwarya Swasahaya Sangha from Edmeru, Kattingeri secured the second position.

Mr. Rajendra Kumar, President of the State Apex Bank presented the first prize to Sri Mahalingeshwara Swashahaya Sangha at the programme itself, where as Ishwarya Navodyaya Swasahaya Sangha received its prize from Mr. Shivaji Suvarna, President of the CA Bank, Moodubelle on 25th February 2010.
