Self motivated, mega Blood donation Camp, organised at Mount Rosary High School Santhekatte, Kallian

Udupi, 03 Jul 2022: It was really an enthusiastic look at the Mont Rosary Church English Medium High School to watch real humanitarian service to the needy, by way of Voluntary Blood donation Camp, on Sunday, 3rd July, 2022. As the organisers led by socially concerned Mogaveera Yuva Sanghatane, Udupi Dist, its Kallianpur Unit has taken the much needed initiative, at the backdrop of availability of very low level blood units in various Hospitals, for the consecutive 16th year……

 

 

As a demonstration of classic unity and fraternity, dozens of platforms and organisations joined  together, mention may be made of The Catholic Sabah (R) Stree Sanghatan, The ICYM, The Commission for Health – all related to Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte, Kallianpur, Dr G Shankar Family Trust (R) Ambalapady, Udupi, District Administration, The Lions Club of Kallianpur, Kaladegula, Kellanejaru, NEW Star Sports Club, Tonse, Guru Youvaka Mandala R Nejar, Balamaruthi Vyayama Shale, Kallianpur, etc spontaneously came together with the KMC Blood Bank Team to support, and be a part of this event.

 

Collection of blood was given a start at 9.15 am with KMC Team ready with all facilities and equipments. A short stage programme was organised to highlight the importance of blood donation, benefits to both the donors and the recipients in emergencies, was shared by the special guests and representatives of various sponsors, socially concerned platforms in the vicinity, irrespective of religion, caste or creed, which we not only propagate but also exhibit today to send right signals to youth and children and the society at large we live in.

 

Organisers made it special event to recognise and honour the services of Covid Warriors who were frontrunners come to the rescue of sufferers, victims, patients and their dependents, during those horrifying days.
