Udupi: BJP Holds Party Workers Meet, Honours Pramila Pinto

So the discussions regarding Lokpal bill  should be limited to the Parliament instead of discussing in public . UPA government is trying to play with bill drafting committee and try to control all the power within themselves says MP D V Sadananda Gowda while inaugurating the meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party’s  Udupi unit was held in the Sheshashayana audtiorium of Hotel Kediyoor Saturday, July 9.

 

 

 

District president Udaykumar Shetty presided over the meeting Kapu MLA Lalaji R Mendon, Byndoor MLA Laxminarayana, Mangalore MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, Sulochana Bhat, former MLA Rukmaya Poojary and others were present. Shyamala compeered the programme.

 

‘Golden girl Pramila Pinto honoured’

On this occasion, state higher education minister Dr V S. Acharya honoured special Olympics gold medal-winning girl Parmila Pinto of Manasa School, Pamboor. During the occasion President of Manasa Remedia and Pricipal Sr. Telma Lewes were present.

 

She thanked the leaders of BJP and assured in future also she will participate in such events and bring laurels to Manasa and state.
