Prashant Poojary elected president of district awardee Durgaparameshwari Friends Club-Abbanadka

Karkala, 06 Oct 2021: Prashant Poojary Nandalike elected as new president of Durgaparameshwari Friends Club – Abbanadka.

 

Wilfred D’Souza, coordinator of Udupi district Nehru Yuva Kendra was the chief guest.

 

Speaking on the occasion, D’Souza said that Durgaparameshwari Friends Club – Abbanadka is the top club in Udupi district because of their innovative programmes that are regularly held. ‘It’s not just a club rather strives like a family,’ said Wilfred.

 

 

Kusha R Moolya Inna, president of Kulala Sangh – Naniltar, Mundkoor and JCI national coach Sudhakar Poojary Karkal were other dignitaries present.

 

The Club past president Satish Poojary Abbanadka, former president Bola Raghuveer Shetty, Anand Poojary, Dinesh Poojary Beerottu, Suresh Poojary Kasrabail, Rajesh Kotian, vice president Suresh Abbanadka, joint secretary Pushpa Kulal, treasurer Veena Poojary, women wing secretary Sandhya Shetty, Bhajan Mandal president Sulochana Kotian, secretary Harinakshi Poojary, Vanaduga SHG president Lalita Acharya and others were present.

 

The Club secretary Hariprasad Acharya presented the annual report. 

 

Sulochana Kotian rendered the prayers. Sandhya Shetty welcomed the gathering. Padmasri Poojary introduced the new president. The new secretary Suresh Poojary Kasrabail proposed vote of thanks. The convener Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary compered the programme.
