Mangaluru: Voice of Blood Donors® in Ramadan donate 30 units of blood to Red Cross Society

Mangaluru, 11 Apr 2021: The Voice of Blood Donors (VOBD), city-based registered social welfare organization that was founded over 3 years ago by enterprising youth Abdul Rauf Bunder created history by collecting over 3,500 units of blood with their dedicated members organized a blood camp during Ramadan at the district headquarters of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) located in the premises of Lady Goschen, here on Saturday, April 10 morning.

 

Both Abdul Rauf and Shakeel led the blood donors who contributed 30 units of blood to blood bank of IRCS, here on Saturday morning.

 

 

The blood camp was organized with the sole purpose to replenish stock of blood at IRCS despite the fact that the members of VOBD are fasting during the Ramadan. It’s indeed a great sacrifice on their part to be at the service of needy who need frequent blood transfusion and other emergencies.
