Mangaluru: Father Muller College of Nursing organizes women health awareness session

Mangaluru, 12 Mar 2021: Father Muller College of Nursing, department of OBG nursing, here organized a health awareness sessions at Nirmala Hospital, Ullal, here on Thursday, March 11 at 10.00am.

 

The programme started with the prayer song, sung by I BSc Nursing students.

 

Dr Sr Lenita medical officer and consultant obstetrician and gynecologist welcomed the gathering.

 

 

Sr Emma superior and administrator, highlighted the health issues faced by the women and congratulated all the women for their contributions in the family and society.

 

Reena Wilma Frank delivered a talk on nutrition during adolescents and pregnancy.

 

Pramila D’Souza highlighted on preventive tips for reproductive cancers.

 

The games were conducted in between the sessions and prize distributed to the winners.

 

The beneficiaries of the programme were adolescent girls and mothers. The entire staff, faculty of the Nirmala Hospital witnessed the event.

 

The programme concluded with vote of thanks and refreshment at 11.15am.
