Udupi: Seer sets time-limit to resolve SEZ and UPCL issues

Udupi, 09 June 2011: Seer offered time-limit until 10th June to the state government to take firm decision and resolve Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Udupi Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) issues, which has been causing difficulties to the people. If the government do not inform of any decision I will start my fight against the government from 13th June he said and set time limit. While speaking to the news reporters on Wednesday at Pejavar Mutt, he said that he will not reveal the form of his fight now, you will see how the fight will be this time he said.

 

When it was reminded to him that he had done the fasting movement 2 times earlier also but the government did not bow, he was unhappy and said that the result cannot be achieved at once, will have to wait. Fighting is my work, I am not worried about the result, fight is to be kept alive, I am doing it, he said.

 

About his earlier fasting movement against the government for 1 week, Higher Education Minister Dr. V. S. Acharya had spoken lightly saying that Swameeji is anyway having food for only one time a day, so the fasting is not difficult for him, he responded saying, so let him fast for 2 days, let us see.... questioned Sree.
