Mangaluru: Cordel parish wins KNS Inter-parish Voviyo Verse Competition

Mangaluru, 23 Sep: Konkani Natak Sabha® (KNS) Mangaluru organized 1st Inter-Parish Voviyo verse Competition for the different parishes of Mangaluru diocese at Don Bosco Hall, here on Sunday, September 22.

 

The competition was inaugurated by general secretary Judi D’Souza, convener Floyd D’Mello along with the jury.

 

Cordel, Mariashram, Cascia, Jeppu, Bondel, Urwa, Permannur, Ranipura and Kulur parishes took part in the competition.

 

 

Cordel parish bagged the first place, Mariashram parish won the second and Jeppu parish the third.

 

The jury comprised Eric Soans, Arun Raj Rodrigues and Manohar Saldanha (Manu Bantwal).

 

Judi D’Souza welcomed the gathering and introduced the jury. The vice president Sunil Menezes announced the results. Raymond D’Cunha compered the programme. Convener Floyd D’Mello proposed vote of thanks.
