Dr Austin D’Souza gets Victor Rodrigues Memorial Konkani Literature Award

Mangaluru, 07 Jul: Ln. Dr. Austin D’Souza Prabhu of USA, a well-known konkani litterateur, it is announced has been awarded the prestigious late Victor Rodrigues Memorial Konkani Literature Award 2019.

 

This annual award has been instituted by Celine Rodrigues in memory of her husband late Victor Rodrigues, well known Konkani litterateur under the auspices of Samanvaya in 2011.

 

 

The award is given to writers who have rendered remarkable contribution to Konkani literature.

 

The award consists of Rs. 10,000, citation, memento, shawl and honour.

 

The award will be conferred on July 21 at Infant Jesus Shrine Auditorium, Bikarnakatte.
