Udupi: Youth Catechism (YouCat) Training held for ICYM and YCS Youth of Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle, 07 Jul: Youth Catechism (YouCat) training for the ICYM and YCS youth organized by the Youth Commission of St. Lawrence Parish was conducted in the Parish Hall on Sunday, 7 July 2019 at 9 am. Fr. Stephen D’Souza, Director of Liturgical and Catechism Commissions of Udupi Diocese was the resource person who conducted the training programme.

 

The YouCat training programme was inaugurated by Fr. Clement Mascarenhas. Ft. Stephen D’Souza, Fr. Jithesh Castelino-Assistant Parish Priest of Moodubelle, Deacon Ivan Martis, Mrs. Cony D’Souza-Youth Companion, Mrs. Anita Alva-Animator of ICYM and Wilton D’Souza-President of ICYM Udupi Deanery were present for the inaugural programme.

 

 

In his message, Fr. Clement Mascarenhas stressed on the need to know and understand the Holy Scriptures.

 

Preema Rose Alva-President of ICYM Moodubelle Unit welcomed the gathering, Sharline D’Almeida introduced Fr. Stephne D’Souza and Hezel Martis compeered the inaugural programme.

 

Fr. Stephen D’Souza conducted the YouCat training programme.
