Udupi: Sports along with studies brightens career chances – Satish Hegde

Udupi, 06 Nov: The annual sports meet of Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte, Moodubelle, near here was held recently. Niranjan Rao, entrepreneur from Belle, inaugurated the sports meet by hoisting the sports flag.

 

Jnanaganga PU College president Ramdas Shettigar presided the programme. The students who were qualified to participate in forthcoming Karnataka state sports meet lighted the sports torch.

 

 

Satish Kumar Hegde, physical education director of MGM College, here, was the chief guest.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Satish said sports along with studies sharpens physical and mental agilities that is essential for achieving goal to carve out better future and career.

 

The College principal U L Bhat welcomed the gathering. English lecturer Bhaskar Acharya compered the programme. II PUC (Com) student Meghana rendered the prayers. Physical education director Raghu Kadur proposed vote of thanks.
