Udupi: SVS PU College, Katpady to host Pry & High School Sports Meet, Race 2018 on Sep 25 & 26

Udupi, 24 Sep 2018: The sports ground of SVS PU College, Katpady, near here, all set to host Udupi zonal level Primary and High School Sports Meet, Race – 2018, on September 25 and September 26.

 

Over 1,000 students are likely to partake in the sports meet that will be held in collaboration with Udupi ZP public instructions department and office of Udupi block education officer. The athletes including referees will be provided with free food and accommodation.

 

The sports Committee president Vinay Ballal, sports ground Committee president K Satyendra Pai, finance Committee president Katpady Shanker Poojary, SVS Vidyavardaka Sangh honorary president P Rabindra Nayak, president M Dinesh Kini, secretary Mahesh Shenoy, convener K Vasant Madhav Bhat, K Ratnakar Kini, sports Committee secretary Shekar Anchan, treasurer M Jayamalini, alma mater president Prem Kumar, SVS PU College principal Dr Dayanand Pai, SVS High School headmaster Subramanya Tantri, education director Kiran Kumar Shetty and others are striving for the success of sport meet.

 

District in charge minister to inaugurate sports ground on Sep 25

 

The newly-laid sports ground at Palligudde, Katpady, near here for SVS PU College, to host r Udupi zonal sports meet will be inaugurated by Udupi district in charge minister Dr Jayamala on Tuesday, September 25.

 

Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon will preside the programme.

 

Udupi ZP president Dinakar Babu will inaugurate the sports meet.

 

MLC L Bhoje Gowda will inaugurate the newly-laid tracks.

 

Udupi DC Priyanka Mary will hoist the sports flag. 

 

Adani – UPCL joint president Kishore Alva will accept the guard of honour.

 

Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon will preside the valedictory function on September 29, stated the media release.
