Muscat, 15 May 2011: Bellevision Oman members organised a get-together on account of Easter at National training Institute Ghala at 8.00pm on 12th May 2011. The celebration began with a prayer led by Mrs. Judith Lobo followed by a warm welcome by the President Edward Mendonca. This celebration was to bring together the family members of Belle, Pamboor, Kuntalnagar and Kanajar parishioners having membership in the Bellevision network in Muscat.
Lawrence Alva who was the founder president of Bellevision Muscat was felicitated with bouquet of flowers on account of being promoted as the Chief Executive Officer of National Training Institute. It added to the achievements and pride of Belleans and brought out inspiration to the youngsters to realise that self-determination, hard work and persistence will definitely help to grow in one’s profession.
Lawrence Alva gave an inspiring address to the members and briefed how gradually he acquired this success of being a CEO of the Institute. It was not sudden but a progressive growth and strong determination to remain in a company and grow both academically and professionally. He mentioned that he started his career with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and added many degrees after this as he was working and it was the reason for success. He encouraged the youngsters not to be satisfied with the basic qualification but to grow with the work and add experience not looking for momentary gains but have a long-term goal. The talk was indeed inspiring and motivating.
There was fun filled activity such as games for children and adults conducted by Edward Mendonca and Glenda Castelino. The Housie Housie entertained the entire crowd both adult and children and had chances to win as many as eight prizes.
The children specially Rishita and Riyana entertained the group with their mind blowing dance performance.

Consolation prizes were given to talented children who spontaneously came forward for performing. They were: Ms Cleona Rodrigues and Baby Delisya D’Souza. Master Roshan was wished on account of his birthday.
The games were followed by a ‘baila’ dance from the members. Ms Sinorita D’souza led everyone for the grace before meal and ended with a delicious buffet dinner prepared by the members with traditional items as sanna, pork, chicken curry sono, salad, pulao and sweet orn.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks. The cultural committee members Sylvester Alva and Mrs Philomena coordinated the programme plan and arrangement of the dinner.
