Bellevision Kuwait celebrates Monti Fest

Kuwat, 20 Sep 2018: As every year, this year too Bellevision Kuwait celebrated Monti Fest at Salmiya, here, with utmost religious fervor, on Friday, September 7.  Over 150 Belleans took part in the celebration with a lot of enthusiasm.

 

The programme began at 7.45pm with welcome by master of ceremony, Shawn Pereira, followed by a procession and traditional flowers offered by the little children to Mother Mary, accompanied by singing ’Sakkad Sangatha Mellyan’ and ‘Moriyek Hogolsiyan.’ Sunitha Montero and Children led the prayer.

 

The occasion witnessed the presence of parish priest of St Lawrence parish, Moodubelle Fr Clement Mascarenes and presidents and representatives of various Mangalorean associations in Kuwait.

 

Bellevison president Albert Pereira addressing the gathering thanked each one for their presence and support, also acknowledged the efforts by all the committee members for organizing the event.The sponsors and the guest honored by flower bouquets.

 

 

 

Fr Clement Mascarenes, highlighted the importance of the unity of the parishioners.

 

MC Shawn Pereira kept the children engaged with various games, spot games kept the crowd cheering and enthusiastic. A variety of entertainment, welcome dance by Hailey Pereira, and group dance by Lanston Pinto, Aaroan Pinto Crystal Pinto and Olivia Fernandez, group singing by Edel Castelino, Reon Alva, Rovin Castelino and Aaron Alva kept the crowd amused. Auction and housie housie game was the main attraction of the event.

 

DJ James entertained the crowd with melodious music. Vice PresidentVincent Fernandes thanked each and every onein his vote of thanks.

 

Fr Clement offered the grace before meal. As per the ritual ‘Novem’ followed by a traditional vegetarian meal and vorn prepared by Royal Star Caterers was served to all.

 

The program was concluded singing ‘laudate’.
