Udupi: Moodubelle parish ICYM unit celebrate National Youth Day with variety competitions

Udupi, 27 Aug 2018: ICYM unit of St Lawrence parish, Moodubelle, near here celebrated National Youth Day on Sunday, August 26 during 7:30am Holy Mass.

 

The ICYM members participated in the Holy Mass offered by Fr Lawrence Cutinha as the chief celebrant along with Fr Roman Mascarenhnas.

 

 

In his homily, Fr Lawrence Cutinha said that youth are like light to society and youth should not be afraid and God calls them by name. 

 

The ICYM members conducted liturgy and choir. All members actively participated in Eucharistic Celebration and occupied the front pews at the church. Many youth brought offerings.

 

The parish priest Fr Clement Mascarenhnas wished all youth and appreciated for their active participation and involvement in parish activities.

 

On Aug 26 at 2:30pm, on the occasion of National Youth Day, the ICYM unit of Fatima parish, Perampalli held various competitions like quiz, cooking without fire and face painting at deanery level. Youths from different parish were present and actively participated in the event.
