Udupi/M’Belle, 15 Jul 2018: Indian Catholic Youth Movement(ICYM), Catholic Sabha, Stree Sanghattan and Social Welfare Commission of St. Lawrence Parish, Moodubelle organized ‘Vanamahotsava’ and cleanliness drive soon after the 7.30 am mass on Sunday, 15 July 2018.
In his message, Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of St. Lawrence Parish, Moodubelle made an appeal to the parishioners to keep their surroundings clean and free away from the use of plastic. He also stressed on planting saplings and taking care of them as they grow. He complemented the organizations of the parish for taking the initiative in promoting ‘Vanamahotsava’ and taking up cleanliness drive.

Lawrence Cutinha-Assistant Parish Priest, Vincent Fernandes-Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs. Monica D’Souza-Convener of 18 Commissions, Joshwil Cryston D’Mello-President of ICYM, Carol Quadros-Secretary of ICYM, Anil D’Souza-President of the Catholic Sabha, Mrs. Ancilla D’Souza-Convener of Social Welfare Commission, Mrs. Jyothi Lobo-President of Stree Sanghattan, Mrs. Anita Alva and Valerian Noronha-Animators of ICYM and quite a number of members of these organizations were present.
Joshwil D’Mello welcomed the gathering and Sara D’Souza-Secretary of ICYM of Udupi Diocese compered the programme.
Fr. Clement Mascarenhas along with Vincent Fernandes distributed saplings to the parishioners.
