Udupi: Alvas Infratech Concrete Products Manufacturing Unit Inaugurated at Moodubelle

Udupi/M’Belle, 13 Apr 2018: Alvas Infratech Concrete Products Manufacturing Unit was blessed and inaugurated near Babbarya Kere, Moodubelle on Friday, 13 April 2018 at 5 pm. Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of St. Lawrence Church, Moodubelle conducted the prayer service and blessed the complex and machinery that will be used in the manufacture of concrete products such as concrete blocks for the construction of buildings and other structures.

 

In his welcome address, Alphonse Alva narrated the reasons behind setting up of Alvas Infratech Concrete Products Manufacturing Unit and said that the need of the builders to have readymade concrete or cement blocks while constructing  residential or commercial buildings would be met by the manufacturing unit. 

 

 

Besides the Alva Brothers - George, Lawrence, Job and Alphonse, the brief inauguration programme was attended by Boniface Barboza (Benny Master) - former Headmaster of Church Aided Higher Primary School, Moodubelle and his wife Mrs. Eugene Barboza, Navin Correa - Principal of St. Lawrence PU College, Mrs. Leena D’Silva - former Headmistress of St. Lawrence Kannada Medium High School, Commodore Jerome Castelino (VSM), Mario Mathias-Manager of Syndicate Bank, Moodubelle, Rajendra Shetty - former President of Belle Grama Panchayat, Mrs. Ida Gibba D’Souza - former member of Udupi Zilla Panchayat, Devdas Hebbar - former President of Udupi Taluk Panchayat, Gerald Fernandes -President of Lions Club, Moodubelle and a number of invitees. 

 

Alphonse Alva welcomed the gathering and compeered the programme and Elias D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
