Mangaluru: Bishop Dr Aloysius blesses renovated Milagres Church Centenary Jubilee Hall

Mangaluru, 09 Apr 2018: The renovated Milagres Church Centenary Jubilee Hall was blessed by Mangalore Bishop ‘Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza on April 6. The existing hall which was constructed 12 years ago needed more facilities that was developed at the leadership of parish priest Valerian D’Souza and parish council.

 

Short prayer service was conducted by assistant parish priest Fr Edwin. During the inaugural program architect and engineers were honored.

 

 

During his presidential address, Bishop said, ‘I had queries from people asking for air conditioned hall for catholic weddings. So, I asked Fr Vally to take up the renovation work of Milagres Hall. Always we should give better service for people. Now-a-days people prefer air condition hall due to hot weather. This Hall really modified as per the needs of the people I wish we will give better service to people as per their desire. This hall is center of attraction for all.’

 

During the vote of thanks parish council vice president Cecilia Pereira thanked all the people who served in various ways to complete the hall within two months.
