M’lore: St Joseph Church Jeppu celebrates Annual Parish Feast

Mangalore, 02 May 2011: St Joseph Church Jeppu Celebrated the Annual Parish Feast on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Mangalore.

 

The statue of St. Joseph  was blessed at Joseph Nagar and was taken in a procession. During the blessing of the statue of St. Joseph, the Parish Priest said that the day marks triple celebration  for the parishioners as  Pope John Paul II has been beatified by the present Pope Benedict XVI, the feast of St. Joseph the Worker and the May Day.

 

 

Later Parishioners celebrated the solemn feast mass offered by  Rev. Fr. Baptist, Director of Fr. Muller’s Hospital as the main Celebrant. In his homily  he said that God has showered his blessings through many ways and mankind has been witnessing His blessings.

 

Fr. Andrew,  Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church, Jeppu thanked all the donors, sponsors and well-wishers.
