Mumbai: Selfless service brings new meaning to social welfare – Swami Vidyadiraj

Mumbai, 29 Jan 2018: The communal harmony thrives when the people in society realize the essence of religions. The unity in society can do wonders as it guarantees societal growth. The selfless service brings new meaning to social service. There are several organizations that have become successful in their endeavors. Konkani Triveni Kala Sangama is one amongst them. The societal focus is the inspiration for them, said Swami Vidyadiraj of Partagali Jeevottam mutt.

 

Swami Vidyadiraj was speaking after inaugurating Konkani Utsav – 2018 that was organized by Konkani Triveni Kala Sangam at Yogi auditorium of Swami Narayan Mandir, Dadar (East), here, on Saturday, January 28 evening.

 

 

Padmavibhushan Anil Kakodkar, V Leeladhar, Prakash Mallya, N D Sondhe, Ashok Saraf, Suman Kallianpur, Ajit Gunjikar, Anil Desai, Praveen Kadle, Kishore Avaresekar, Jagannat Pai, S K Sakalkar, Sandeep Shirke, Harish Bhat, Prakash Pai, Shyamsundar Kamat, M Jagannat Shenoy, U Ramdas Kamat, Basti Vaman Shenoy, advocate M V Kini, Raghunandan S kamat, Kundapura Srinivas Prabhu, R R Kamat, Hanumanta Pai, Dinesh R Nayak, G Damodar Rao, Arun Nayak, Vasant Shanbagh was present.

 

Konkani Triveni Kala Sangama co-convener K Srinivas Prabhu, vice president Dr C N Shenoy, Suguna Kamat, Shobha Kulkarni, Prakash Bhat, Umesh Pai, Kiran Kamat and Sachin Kamat were also present.

 

Ashok Patka group and Pratamesh Lagate group preented devotional singing programme on the occasion.

 

The convener D M Suktankar welcomed the gathering. The president Ullas D Kamat offered info about Konkani Triveni Kala Sangama. Mangala Kadilkar and Kumble Narasimha Prabhu compered the programme. Pradeep G Pai (Hangya Mangaluru) proposed vote of thanks.
