Gangolli, 18 Jan 2018:“St. Joseph Vaz is a great inspiration and model of Christian Values" said Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Kannada Kudru of Gangolli parish. He was addressing on the celebration of the Annual Feast of Joseph Vaz  held at St. Joseph Vaz Chapel, Kannada Kudru of Gangolli parish.  

 

The celebration began with grand procession in honour of the saint from Kannada Kudru bridge. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi celebrated the holy Eucharist with the priests of the deanery and other nearing parishes.

 

 

Fr. Anil D’souza, Vicar Vara, Fr. Albert Crasta, parish priest, Fr. Patrick Crasta, former provincial of Capuchins, and other priests were present on the occasion. A small stage program was held after the mass. Donors and well wishers  were honoured for their cooperation. Bishop honoured  Mr. Philip D’Costa for sponsoring the whole celebtration. Vivian Crasta vice president, thanked all.
