Udupi/M’Belle: Tulu Drama ‘Eduru Kopa..’ in aid of new Parish Hall staged successfully

Udupi/M’Belle, 04 Jan 2018: “Eduru Kopa”, Tulu Drama written and directed by renowned dramatist, director and actor Devdas Kapikad was staged successfully in St. Lawrence PU College quadrangle on Wednesday, 3 January 2018 to raise funds for the construction of the new Parish Hall.

 

In spite of being the Annual Parish Feast and biting cold, a large number of people gathered in the quadrangle to witness the comedy drama that enthralled the audience.

 

Prior to the staging of the drama, ICYM members presented the prayer song and welcome dance.

 

The chief sponsors were honoured by Fr. Clement Mascarenhas, Parish Priest of Moodubelle, Fr. Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest, Vincent Fernandes, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council and Mrs. Latha D’Mello Secretary.

 

 

Fr. Fred Mascarenhas, presently Parish priest of Padukone and former Dean of Udupi Deanery, Fr. Denis D’Sa, PRO of Udupi Diocese, Fr. Naresh and a number of prominent people were present for the staging of the drama.
