Shirva: Miraculous escape in Maruthi car accident

Shirva, 10 April 2011: Maruthi 800 car which was coming from Shirva to Katapadi on Friday evening skids off at the Nyarma slope near Shirva Society as the driver looses control and goes over the compound wall of Mrs. Elveera Fernandes in a high speed, turns into opposite direction and flows between the two electric poles and then stops.

Car number plate and the rear cover flies off in the course of this accident, but miraculously the driver escapes unhurt. People gathered there to see this amazing unusual accident and Shirva Police Station Sub Inspector and the crew had to control the growing crowd.
